Kidepo Valley
Kidepo Valley National Park, located in the remote north eastern Uganda, is a true wilderness and one of Africa’s last untouched treasures. The park spans an impressive 1,442 square kilometres and is characterised by rugged savannah, stunning mountain landscapes, and the Kidepo and Narus Rivers, which provides vital water resources in the dry season.
Kidepo is renowned for its exceptional wildlife diversity, including over 77 mammal species such as lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and the rare cheetah. The park is also home to over 475 bird species, making it a paradise for bird watchers.
