Health and travel insurance

It is recommended that you obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance policy in your country before visiting Uganda. The policy should provide for all medical emergencies including evacuation, as well as accidents if you intend to take part in high risk adventure activities like bungee jumping, whitewater rafting, and gorilla trekking. If you plan to rent a car in Uganda, be sure to get one that has a valid comprehensive car insurance policy.
