Weather and Climate

Uganda is a small country in East Africa crossed mid-way by the Equator. It has a tropical climate, which gives it generally a pleasantly warm weather throughout the year. Average temperatures in Uganda range between 20 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius (68 degrees – 77 degrees F). Rainfall generally ranges between 1,000mm and 1,500mm or 40 – 60 inches per annum. The rainy season is from March – May and September to November. Heavy rains often make roads and terrain difficult to travel.
